SYNOPSIS
Where does truth end and invention begin? Historias Casi Ciertas is a collection of fantastic tales walking the edge between reality and the unbelievable. Through a fragmented literary style, the author disrupts the familiar world he first presents, catapulting us to the ends of the universe.
Part legend and part anecdote, these stories brush against madness and stir the imagination. They take us through terrible moments of doubt, revenge, love and sorrowful nostalgia, joined by a fine thread of satirical humor, local color and a deep affection for the neighborhood, family and friends.
Do not expect to determine exactly where a story stops being true. That is impossible: honestly, even the author does not know. Some are true from beginning to end; others were inspired by a gesture, a touch, a glance or a fading memory inviting us to fill in the gaps and imagine what happened. And the rest? The rest is a tall tale.
